CloudSync

Advertising disclosure

Last updated:

CloudSync is supported by advertising on selected articles. This page explains the difference between editorial guidance, advertisements and promotions for our own website.

Display advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and participating advertising partners may select ads using the page context, approximate location, advertising settings and, where permitted, interests associated with previous browsing.

CloudSync may earn revenue from advertising impressions or valid interactions. You do not need to click advertisements to read our guides. Please interact with an ad only if you are genuinely interested in the advertised offering.

Editorial recommendations are separate

App recommendation cards and links within our articles are editorial content. An advertisement is not a CloudSync recommendation, and its appearance does not mean we have tested the product, verified every claim or endorsed the advertiser.

Advertisers are responsible for their offers. Check their identity, terms, pricing, cancellation arrangements and privacy practices before downloading, subscribing or paying.

Advertising CloudSync elsewhere

We may promote CloudSync guides through Google Ads and other advertising services. Those promotions lead to information on this website; they do not mean CloudSync has detected a storage problem on your device or will perform a cleanup for you.

Advertising measurement can help us understand whether a promotion brought readers to the site. Our privacy policy explains the information involved and the choices available.

Sponsored content and affiliate links

A paid editorial placement or affiliate link, if used, will be disclosed in the relevant content. An affiliate relationship means a publisher may receive compensation for a qualifying action through a link. Do not infer that an app provider sponsors an article solely because its product is mentioned.

Your advertising choices

Consent and applicable regional privacy choices are presented through Google's AdSense privacy messages. Choices about personalized advertising do not change our editorial advice. Details and additional controls are available in our privacy policy.

To report a misleading ad, use the ad's reporting controls where available, or contact us with the page URL and advertiser name. Avoid sending private account or payment information.
