Slidebox: Organize Photos, Review Before Deleting
Separate album organization from photo deletion when using Slidebox on iPhone.
Slidebox helps organize photos into albums and compare pictures you may not want. Organizing an album alone does not reduce storage.
Sort or remove deliberately
- Allow access to the photos you want to organize.
- Use the album controls for pictures you want to keep. Compare similar shots before deciding whether either is unwanted.
- Treat a delete gesture as a separate action. Check the selected photos and any confirmation before approving removal.
The app works with your Apple Photos library; it is not an independent backup simply because photos appear in its interface.
Before deleting photos
When iCloud Photos is enabled, library deletions can also reach iCloud and synced devices. If your goal is smaller local copies while keeping that library, use Optimize Photo Storage.

Check the result
Confirm your albums and kept photos in Apple Photos. Check device storage only after actual removal; sorting alone does not reclaim space. Do not empty Recently Deleted without reviewing its contents.
