Swipewipe: Choose Which iPhone Photos to Keep
Review iPhone photos in small batches and check the effect of deletion on your library.
Swipewipe helps you review a photo library in smaller batches. Choose it for deciding which photos to keep, not for clearing iPhone System Data.
Review a small batch
- Allow access to the photos you want to review.
- Choose a month and follow the app’s swipe controls: right to keep, left to mark for removal.
- Recheck your choices and read any deletion confirmation before approving it. Stop if you are unsure about a photo.

Before deleting photos
Changes to Apple Photos can also affect iCloud Photos and other synced devices. This is not a method to keep wanted photos only in iCloud; use Optimize Photo Storage for that purpose.
For independent copies, follow backup before removing photos. Do not empty Recently Deleted until wanted files have been verified elsewhere.
Check the result
Open Apple Photos to confirm the keepers remain, then check iPhone Storage after it updates. A review gesture by itself does not guarantee reclaimed space.
